Sunken cost fallacy be damned. I'm cutting my losses and moving on.
Rick looks excited about this.Yeah, so 2020 came and went, and the camper died. Water got in during storage, and rot set in again. Decided I wasn't happy with how the should-have-been-from-scratch build was turning out, and we're now moving in a new direction.
Will hopefully have the new setup this month. If not, who knows what will happen. I sold my deck over trailer to put towards the new setup, and I'll keep this thread up to date.

So far 1.5mpg improvement unloaded mixed driving. Most importantly, it's way way more comfortable to drive at 70. 9 hours yesterday didn't feel like much at all.Awesome.
hows the re-gear doing?
Update. Best recorded mpg going 72mph on flat 95 was 15.2mpg. I can hardly believe it, but I'm stoked. So far 1.5mpg improvement unloaded mixed driving. Most importantly, it's way way more comfortable to drive at 70. 9 hours yesterday didn't feel like much at all.
Inside on the big boy tires. Trailer is bigger than the pics make it seem. 28' overall length, but the ramp door opening is ~92" wide by ~85" high. Plenty of room for her to fit in.Drive safe amigo.
But where does the 60 go?
Inside with rollers?
