Matt:
Can you help? The white plastic connector for our ignition cracked and is making poor connections. We need to replace the connection but not necessarily the ignition itself. Do you sell just the connector and pigtail?
Thanks.

I will need detailed up close photos

can you please PM them to me ?
I can better assist you outside the TECh forum

we can get into more details

but yES we can help

I DO have the in dash ign switch pig tail only if that’s what u need ?

More In-dash IGN. Switch Single sided keys close ups

I ALWAYS ACC the 1972 Optional BLUE w/ red tracer AUX circuit to all my pigtails

Since the "Original Key Thread" morphed into "Ignition Switch Issues", can I "downshift" BACK to the keys for this post??
I have a 1974 FJ40 that I bought new in Dec, '73.. I also have ONE original (pristine/never used) ignition key (double sided tumblers-- door & hatch key is single sided).. the keys I carry in my key case are, after forty-seven and and a half years, "only" worn-down to HALF their original widths. Fortunately I have the "original numbers" for the Ignition and Drivers Door/Rear Glass Hatch Lock keys.
Might I purchase at least two pair of JUST these keys? (the actual "door locks" are in excellent condition as I rarely locked the drivers door and almost never unlocked the "Rear Hatch" (rear glass frame) AND managed to squirt some WD40 into them once in a while!
I hate to claim ignorance, but I have never figured-out to send a "private message" on this forum, so would need some way to contact you directly to possibly conduct the transaction.... (sorry to be "ignernt")..
Charles 1974 FJ40.

This is a Solid Example of a First Gen. single sided key from my personal. Collection.

even though it’s been factory code cut and code stamped

it’s never been used in any land cruiser ignition switch

it was part of a old dealer emergency kit

I’ve used these over the years to avoid wearing out my TEQ ones…

I recently bought the local Locksmith's last remaining 2 blanks. He said it had been 20 years since he last cut one… quite likely it was for me… so he’s not ordering more.
