Knitwits?

Dynamite....

Just got off an elevator with a "earthquake" button.
In alabama?
I have never wanted to push a button so bad in my life.
I thought what could it do? Simulate an earthquake.

The crazy part of it was... it's a single story building!

I like turtles

I like turtles

That's reminds me of a story my father told me.

He was stationed in Spain and was fluent in Spanish.
One night a waitress caught the eye of of his buddies (new to Spain and knew no spanish).
Dads buddy kept asking to teach him some spanish pick-up lines.
Dad did told the buddy "never fails".

Well after a few more beers the buddy got enough nerve to try the lines on the waitress.
All they got him was a hard slap.

After my dad quit laughing he told his buddy what he really said.

"I hope you like turtles, because I'm wearing green underwear"

The wife and I are headed to San Francisco in a few weeks. We're planning on checking this out at the CA Academy of Sciences. I'm really hoping there's an elevator button on the wall in the exhibit labeled "Earthquake" to start the show. That'd be pretty funny.

"Earthquake Simulator
Following a brief pre-show, visitors will enter an earthquake simulator designed to look like an old Victorian home in San Francisco. Inside, simulated views of the downtown skyline and sounds of the World Series baseball game will transport guests back to 5:04 pm on October 17, 1989—the date and time of the infamous Loma Prieta earthquake. A sudden tremor, lasting 15 seconds, will give visitors a sense of what this ground-jolting event felt like.

But the experience doesn’t end there—the views of downtown will darken and change, and the sounds of the radio will give way to the clip-clop of a horse-drawn carriage. For a second simulation, guests will travel farther back in time, to 5:12 am on April 18, 1906, the date of the most devastating earthquake in San Francisco’s history. About 32 times stronger than Loma Prieta, this event brought the “Paris of America” to its knees, and the ensuing fire destroyed thousands of buildings, including the original Academy home on Market Street."

I saw a badass 100 today.

It was going the other way down 20/59 towing a camper

It was white, arb front bumper. Some kind of rear bumper with a tire carrier.

Anybody know that guy?

posted with my thumbs.

No... There is one in Hoover just as you describe, Utah plates.

Saw it once a year ago at the Publix out 150 by Regions Park
