Kinda looking like South Carolina is a frisbee state, not a football state.

Not that I can talk much about that this year :hhmm:

What the heck is going on in GA, they've fallen apart? Play Arkansas until the end, but get dominated by SC and MS St?

Strangely enough it sort of like football UGA goes to college nationals almost every year which is like being top 25, Clemson has gone a couple times but it was in the 80's, and USC is mediocre but thinks they are great.

Clemson was tougher than SC, game between the 2 will be interesting

A W is a W, so we'll take it

There you have it unbiased opinion from some guy whose team has 2 mascots.

dohc - every single statement you made about that game was wrong, you gave up tons of consecutive pts, you ran for way less yardage than Clemson and Lattimore didn't do squat, your D had more holes than swiss cheese, and you LOST. Not only that but you did it all in regulation :flipoff2: At least we grew a pair at the end and forced overtime instead of turning it over a couple more times. Let the QB controversy begin now you have 2 talentless bums that Spurrier destroyed the confidence of instead of 1.

the gamecocks will put it together

just watch for them to come out and play bama.

with the death of a teammates brother, a teammates father and many of the seniors haivng close ties to McKinely it was a rough week for those guys to prepare.

They will get back on track, they have alot of talent, just need to clear up those menatal mistakes.

Yeah I guess that is what happened to the Broncos too. Not that they got beat by a better team or anything.:rolleyes:

Win the game, say it was for him, lose the game blame it on him. Way to go. Classy!

Jeremy

with the AU game behind them they have to weeks to get any last mourning out of the way and their heads back in the game.

s.wilson also has time to get some rust out on the practcice field.

Should be a HUGE game after Arkansas showed us that Bama has the ability to be beaten.

So long as we get better ball controll, we will have a good chance of doing just that.

Still don't know why Garcia was pulled. His passing was incredible sat night. Made two bad decisions on running, when he got clocked helmet to helmet no one could have held onto that ball.

lets not forget S.Carolina did some good things this year in a little game they call baseball

He probably got pulled because of that hit. That game made up for all the other crappy games this weekend.

He wasn't dizzy or showed any signs of a concussion. Spurrier said he pulled him because of the 2 fumbles.

Too bad you couldn't hold them better than you did, even after we softened them up for you. You got beat by a better O line, a better D line, by a better QB, and a better RB. We played them harder than you, but that doesn't matter. You'll struggle just to win as many as you lose this year.

So with all the mourning going on, I guess the Cocks got a nice moral victory then by getting a 13 point lead, and playing them up till the 4th qtr.

SC will be out of the polls after their Bama loss, then we won't have to hear all this garbage on Gameday about them any more. Overrated just like they were after the Ole Miss game last year.

to me he looked ok on that next drive but i've heard others say that he was shaken up pretty bad. Definately hope he is ok, he was having a great day in the air that game and didn't look bad at all on his feet.

Yep...and look for another CU beatdown like last year.
Oh, and just where is CU in the polls today?
They sure aren't over-rated....

Hanging just outside the top 25 in the underdog spot waiting for Miami this weekend. Polls didnt matter when we were winning our division last year, whats it been 10+ years since USuC can say that?

your not comparing apples to apples there buddy.

the ACC is a weak ass conference made up of weak ass teams. Even their "powerhouses" as you like to call them have been weak for years on end.

The SEC is where real saturday football is played. It's alot more competitive than the ACC has ever or will ever be. You have a harder time winning a conference against Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Bama and Tenn than you do anyone in the ACC.

Face it bro..even the middle class SEC is better than ANY top class ACC team...look at last years final week of regular season (GA vs GT and SC vs CU) if you need any further proof.

A bottom feeder school like Wake can win the ACC championship...when was the last time a low ranked SEC school went on to win the SEC title...ummm.....NEVER.

Actually I am comparing apples to apples. According to the last month of your sensless ranting the ACC is weak and Clemson is weak therefore we are a weak team in our conference. History and Facts tells us that USuC is a weak team in their conference. So therefore I am comparing 2 teams deemed to be weak in their conference.

If the ACC is so weak you should have stayed here and won it. But I guess 35 years of not winning this conference was enough so USuC figured they'd go start a losing tradition somewhere else and maybe we would all forget the old one.

Ummm... 2001 when #21 LSU beat #2 Tenn.:flipoff2:

Wake was ranked #16 when they won the ACCCG.

Jeremy

not sure what point your making...LSU was not/has never been a bottom feeder team...were they dead last in the conference or even bottom 3 in the SEC in 2000?

compairing the ACC to SEC is apples to oranges

you wanna compare the ACC to another conference compare to them to the Big10

The ACC and Big10 are both full of have-beens and used to could's

There is a big reason that a single loss SEC team will beat out an undefeated ACC team for a NC appearance.

The reason S.Car has never went to the SEC championship, because of stregenth of scheduel/conference

even when we did so well in '00-'01 with 8 and 9 win seasons finishing top 15 in the AP polls to close out the season (plenty of wins to get an appearance in ACC championship game) we did not make it. We did however meet Ohio state back to back and beat them...the year after that Ohio state won a NC.
