Greetings 60 lovers!

We are often asked if we work on other cruisers besides 40 series. The answer is YES!!! We are a Land Cruiser company through and through and we love all the shapes and sizes offered throughout the years.

Now the time has come for a 60 series restoration to roll through The FJ Company's doors. We were lucky enough to have a very enthusiastic customer reach out to us for a FJ62 Restoration that has me and the rest of our team very excited. Look forward to hearing your comments.

This 62 was well cared for, much like most of our donors, we seek out the cleanest examples possible to start with.

Serving as someone's daily driver, this two tone still looks brand new!

Not a bad start to a restoration, a complete engine bay with all the factory parts, perfect!

An interior trending towards modernization, but with classic features that remind you your in 1988. Gotta love these trucks!

More to come soon....just wanted to put a few teasers out there for now....

You're doing a five speed swap with this too, right?

Negative, this is going to be a very stock restoration, keeping the auto, along with a few tasteful upgrades...

Love the work you all do! It's interesting to see how pedestrian these trucks look with stock tires though. Looking forward to seeing thr results.

This is a build or restore? Not seeing a whole lot to restore.

To clarify this is a complete frame-off restoration. Yes, we are starting with a very clean FJ62, but we will treat it like we treat every one of our builds/restos. This will be taken down to bare metal, body worked and prepped for it's new coats of paint. Frame will be stripped to bare metal as well with a healthy powdercoating process that will ensure a long life. Complete drivetrain rebuild, literally every nut and bolt....

The end product will be a new FJ62 worthy of Toyota's 1988 showroom.

I wish I was in the shop with you on this one Cody. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. Are they going with the same two-tone color scheme?

Deconstruction is underway....

Clean window channels, always a good sign....

Although the paint work here is super clean, we always take them down to bare metal to insure no surprises

Interior, electrical, and drivetrain pics coming soon...stay tuned!

Cool pics man. This is going to be a sweet thread. Just don't pull a @SKINNER and stretch out this build over 8 years and then disappear right before the big reveal. :bang:
