Left the house at 4:30 this morning to go grab this soft top and bow set in Greensboro NC. The bows turned out to be Paki and the top, I believe is an OCD. Its faded, but it will match the 40's sweaty look perfectly.

Nice work you are moving along quick
Thanks, I'm trying. I want to be driving it in the spring. We shall see.

Some good looking metal work going on there. I'm gonna guess that your patch pieces came from Real Steel Cruiser Parts. Awesome job Sir.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. Yes, the pans are from Real Steel. They are nice and thick. Not perfect but nice.

Got the firewall fully welded in today. Also got the front motor mounts from Cruiser Outfitters in. The rear mounts are fighting me a bit. I can't imagine doing them with the body on the frame.

So I need to do some painting, and it's been so cold, I decided to build a "paint booth". I also changed my mind about the '78 frame. I will not be using it. The original '70 frame is getting prepped and I will be swapping everything over.

Nice paint booth!
This might have been asked and answered on your thread. I’m to laze to look.
What size is your garage?

Well, tye paint booth worked out great. Got the frame welded up in a couple spots and a couple coats of paint on it. Turned out pretty good.

Damn, you're industrious...

Been down since last Friday recovering from surgery. Today I was able to get the trans and tcase separated from the motor and all 3 were pulled from the '78 frame. Axles were also pulled, and tomorrow I will start putting them back on the '70 frame. The '78 will get a visit from Mr. Plasma cutter. Ordering a clutch from Cruiser Outfitters shortly.

Got the axles in with the Pro-Comp 2.5" lift. Went to town with the plasma cutter and hacked the old frame up and threw it outside. Rolled the refurbished around and under the lift. Slapped the motor in and got the rest of the steering hooked back up. Back to body work tomorrow. All that's left, is everything!
