Continuously amazed by your work, only makes me really nervous about what is hiding in mine. Excellent job, thanks for posting all the gory details.

Not much exciting stuff to see but here are a few pics.

Lots of prep to do and more old floor to get out before the new floor can go in.

These floor crossmembers were not fully opened up before. Now that they are I am going at any rust inside them. Dark colored areas are rust.

I have not started in on this one yet.

Most of the body mounts inside these crossmembers are pretty blown up and rusty.

20-20 hindsight suggests that it would have been orders of magnitude easier to start with a dry RHD truck and graft an LHD firewall into it. :hmm:

Except pretty much every 70 is going to be rusty to some degree in these locations. That is besides the 1 in 10,000 that lived in Central Australia in a hanger or whatever.

How rusty? Ya just never know until it gets opened up. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cheers

Probably.
"The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess?"

I'm not the least bit afraid of RHD trucks and I buy exclusively on condition. My 1988 JDM BJ74 has NO rust at all.
