i am having cleerance problems with the front drive shaft on my land cruiser the drive shaft hits the back of the pan towards the top

i have a chevy 350 with a turbo 400, its an earlier 400 if that makes any differance

any one run into this problem and have the fixes

thanks

there is a smaller OD u-joint/yoke available thru Downey....may be the ticket...

a forum search on "downey" should net you a recent thread in this section on a simlar topic...

another option is a 2-piece driveshaft....but pretty spendy....

also i was wondering if any has this kit, because i see the kit is also adds length to the drive shaft, i need rougly 10 (+/- a inch or 2 )more inches of drive shaft would that kit make up the 10 iches so no drive shaft modification is required ?

My TH400 pan was clearanced (cut at 45* angle) so the 3 speed driveshaft would clear the yoke. Sorry I can't provide pics since I sold that TH400 and got rid of my cruiser axles.
