saw a nice 93 in the recycler and drove all the way to beverly hills last night to check it out

thing was VERY nice, charcoal grey, grey cloth, pretty much everything i want. it had 210k but the owner (original) had a huge stack of reciepts and it ran strong!

i come to a stop sign and it starts violently shaking (feels like the tranny), started to accelerate slowly and it just DIED on me in the middle of the street. owner swore this never happened before, but i declined purschase anyway, left the pile in the street and walked to my car and let him deal with it

funny thing was, the thing vibrated and died, right after the words "Its runs really nice and smooth huh?" just came out of the sellers mouth!

:D

LOL

Yes, we helped him move it and get it back to his house. We needed to push it to the side (god damn are they heavy) and he needed to crank it over for a bit and then it started. It died right next to my car, so once it was running again, the girlfriend and i hopped out and left. When we left him, it was running!

The look on his face when it died RIGHT AFTER him asking me how great and smooth it was, was priceless!

Do you all REALLY think, i am THAT much of a prick to leave ANYone stranded in the steeel? :D

p.s. Avatar is a joke :D

The man calls himself the Boston Mangler, and he is giving us, his friends, the bird every time we see him. Of course he just walked away.

Damn Guys, a little lame dry humor is welcomed over here?

It is. Not trying to be a stuffed shirt, but everytime I see your Avatar I cringe. Don't get me wrong, People flip the bird all the time, yours is just on constant. Mud is a lot different than Pirate.

We have an on going contest at the office for the funniest Ralph comment, here are the current leaders.

3. Ralph, "Teacher my glue tastes sticky."

2. Bart, “Ralph how do the berries taste?”
Ralph, “They taste like burning”

1. Ralph, “Daddy try my crayon sandwich.”
Chief Wiggum, “OK…mum yummy.”
Ralph, “ No daddy, not a pretend bite a real one.”
Chief Wiggum, “Oh alright…..chomp.”
Ralph, “Daddy can you taste the thumb tacks?”
Chief Wiggum, “Oh crap.”

P.S. Let me know if you want me to check out any 80's in the Orange County area for you.

Wow, way off topic, but cool nonetheless

My favorite is when Bart, Ralph, and Millhouse go to the Porno section of a video store and ralph is looking at all of the videos and says "Why is everything hugging?"

Betcha dollars to donuts it's a short ( or 2 ) in the main loom running by the head. If it runs in reverse and not drive, and/or it dies when you wiggle the loom, then you have the culprit. The fix is about an hour or two and maybe $20 splicing wires. You have a great bargaining chip, go back and lowball the guy. It's probably the reason he's selling.
