I'm considering a 5 speed conversion at the time of rebuilding the transfer case +/- mcnamera gear, but would like to give a fj62 w/ the Toyota h55f conversion a test drive. Any locals willing to let me take their fj62 for a drive, roads & freeway?

Thanks

Hi John, If you lived near San Diego I would let you test drive our FJ62 with the H55F transmission. The H55F conversion was the best decision and modification we could have done. the Fj62 has more power, cruises on the freeway and improved the gas mileage(still a gas hog). It does not lag on steep hills running 32" BFGs like it did with the AT. I had Mudrack in Sonoma do the work, very reasonable price. Gary is a mad scientist and takes a long time, but since you are in the Bay Area you would have more interaction with him.
