Techstream vehicle info (2 Viewers)

Hi new here as just bought a 2000 lc100 and loving it.

I like to be able to fix my own cars so have got techstream and a cable which now work after lots of driver software problems that my wife sorted for me.
I have it working checking for fault codes and reading live data, bit on the initial screen after connecting it asks me to choose from the following options
-0108
0108-0208
0208-0408
0408-

I dont know what this is and want to make sure I connect correctly does anybody know what it is, fyi the car is a year 2000 2uz-fe

Huh... never seen that before. Basically, I think there is one more dropdown below that one that is the year that you will input but I have never messed with that dropdown.
Once you get into the software it will let you know what ECUs it sees once you run the health check.

That's 2 digits for the year and 2 for the month of production. So 0408- means from Aug 2004 production onwards.
Yours would be the -0108 (before Aug 2001 production).

Thanks, should have guessed but the American way of showing the date threw me.
