Tank Recall Question (1 Viewer)

Well Hank's 62 still needs to have the gas tank recall done, the problem is the fuel pump has went bad while sitting in the garage I have a pump coming but the question is does anyone know of a dealership that would replace the tank and just put the replacement pump in while they are at it ? Still need to check with local dealer but kinda doubt they would be willing to work with me, so thought I'd ask my fellow cruiserheads this on

Wow! That's awsome that Toyota will still honor a recall on a 62.

Give them a call. It would seem that it would be easier for them to install a new fuel pump as opposed to swapping out the old one.

As far as I know any dealer should honor that recall. When Jamie had her 62 she had the same problem and Miller took care of it. I didn't think the 62 fuel pumps were in the tanks.
