G'Day,

hopefully one of you guys can help me out.
Unfortunately my tank has rusted through at the seams.
Instead of trying to fix it with my almost non-existant welding skills, I thought about getting a new one.
However, in Germany Toyota are unable to source it any longer and even if they could the prices would be ridicilous.
So I checked with Amayama, but the right tank and its successor for my HDJ80L-GNMEWW is not in production any longer.
Well, not totally stupid, I searched for other tanks from FJZ80s and found the following part numbers:

77001-69065 (correct part according to PartSouq - out of production)
77001-69026 (should fit my HDJ80 officially - out of production)
77001-69027 (should fit my HDJ80 officially - out of production)
77001-69015 (should fit my HDJ80 officially - out of production)
77001-69035 (does not list any HD/ZJ80s as compatible - out of production, but succeeded by 77001-69036)
77001-69036 (does not list any HD/ZJ80s as compatible - could be supplied)

So basically the only available tank is 77001-69036.
Can anyone confirm that that one will fit my HDJ80?
I can't make out any differences on any images, but isn't there always a reason for different part numbers?

Alternatively:
Do you think it might be worth to save the tank?
As labour costs and a general "we don't repair stuff anymore" attitude in Germany is a real problem, I'd have to do it myself, however, I somehow doubt it'll be worth the trouble.
Especially because it's a rather large area at the front left seam that is well affected of the rust, plus some other areas that have lost substance, but are still leak free.
I do have a welder, but that only goes as low as 40 amps, which is probably still too much for that sort of sheet metal anyway.
