WOW ! So glad to know that there are (MANY) other TLC owners that have the same NEED, (Woody) to make something happen here ! 36,37,38 X 9 or 10’s would be a wet dream come true ! Somebody, get ahold of somebody....and get ‘r done !! .......HURRY ! It’s already Spring of 2019 I needed them yesterday fellas !!

Post up some good pics when you get them on, I have a 2nd Gen Tacoma and am leaning towards a 235 KO2 to replace my 265 Hankooks.

Maxxis Bighorns come in 255/85-16 too. My Maxxis tires run WAY bigger than my BFG

Thanks for posting those Kevin. They look awesome on your rig.

Will do. It will be a bit I have to get my Tacoma/Tundra spares powder coated first to replace the ugly stock wheels.

If you look at the link in my signature for the 2009 Tacoma there are pics of it with 235/85R16 BFG commercial traction on it, should be in the first few pages of the build.

10-4,

Oh good Lord man, I didn't know you had the Supercharged Taco I have drooled over for years on TW!!!

This needs to happen. Right now it looks like maxxis razor has a full 33, but not so skinny.
I was disappointed of the shrunken size when I got my 33x10,5r15 ko2...
Will definitely stay on skinny tires, but I would prefer a full 33 or 34.
Hybrid, semi mud would be sweet.

As previously posted kenda had a 35x10.5x17 on their 600 hybrid.

I just got the kenda 28 series 275/80r18. I don't have them mointed yet but unmounted/uninflated they are 35.25x9.

When I get them on I'll remeasure and post that up.

33x10.50-15 Maxxis Razr are 32.5” tall and 10” wide on 15x6 rims.

That’s a SOLID 2” taller than my 33x10.50 KM3s.

Unreal.

Pics in my Maxxis thread

Kenda kr28 AT in 275/80r18 is 35 1/8 by 8 3/4 at the tread. The bulge is 10 3/4. So I guess this is 35x9x18? Or 35x11x18? Idk.

This is inflated but not on the rig. 18x 8” rims.

Super curious how you like these after some miles in varied terrain.

Highway report. Fine. Good in rain. Seem quiet, but I only have four hours on them. With window down no noise at 30mph. Quieter than duratracs, which is what I took off, which did start to pick up some whine at 30mph.

Good ride characteristics. They are an 80 aspect, but aren’t swimming in roll.

Nothing to think they won’t be a suitable a/t.

Tire and wheel setup will be mounted to my BJ42 Cruiser.

235/85 R16 Yokohama Geolandar G003 mounted on 16x6 0 offset alloy rims out of an HZJ77.

Struggling battling with rust and chipping from my oem 16 split rims (haven't tried powder coating yet). Heaps lighter and not that far in terms of durability for my application.

Can't wait to have it mounted to my BJ42 soon.

I had both a BFG KO2 and a Maxxis Razr side by side off the vehicle, both on wheels with 30 psi. Both tires brand new. The BFG was less than 1/2" shorter when putting a straight edge on them. I am not sure but the weight of the vehicles may play a factor when measuring. I mounted both of them on the 40 to see which one I liked best. I am putting together a small tire wheeler. I did not get a pic of the side by side. I should be able to get a pic next week when my tires come in. I had to put the other one back on a customers 40.

BTW I ordered up a set of the Maxxis!
