Side note to a separate thread I'm doing on replacing upper control arm ball joints - to take a good picture of a part in order to show dimensions, use the Pano (Panorama) mode on an iPhone or Android. You move the camera in a straight line, over the object, from one end to the other, and it captures the entire length as if you were looking straight down at it, as opposed to an angle. See the attached picture for the difference. Then, as long as you provide at least one measurement in your picture, someone can use that to calculate a different measurement that you may not have made. Won't be a perfectly accurate measurement, but it may suffice for their need.
