The truck came with chinamade LED lamps and the Tail Light Indicator was on all the time.

After I removed all the LEDs and installed regular bulbs, the Tail Light Indicator lights up ONLY when I turn the lights on.

All the bulbs are good and work.

Any ideas?

I've checked all the lights and they seem to be working fine.

Also, verified the factory trailer hitch plug. Didn't see anything wrong there.

If there were a short... It'll blow the fuse. I cannot figure out why is reading a low resistance.

Bit off the topic, but does anyone know if a 2000 LC should / and when should it light up the red lights that are on the back door?

I removed the rear LED set with the stock ones and the constant Tail Light Indicator warning lamp is gone. (I'll deal with the low resistance when I find time to waste)

But I still get the gaddam Tail Light Indicator warning lamp when I turn the lamps on and I cannot find a burn bulb.

Crazy question... The running boards came with lights... now the truck has sliders. Will these turn on with the rest of the marker lamps/head lamps?

If that's the case... I think I found my problem.

On my 2003 LX470, the tailgate lights are on with the headlights. I think I see your outer body lights only

If you could hook it up to techstream it would maybe tell you the exact circuit that is open.

I need to get me a copy.

Thanks for the info

Can anyone show me how to look in techstream to diagnose this?

Any luck with diagnosis on this issue?

Nope... I gave up.
