Sweet! See you guys there!

I would imagine there should be something in the TSF that isn't a campground that would suit you guys.

I'm hoping so. We're both pretty averse to campgrounds, and it's looking like the only camping allowed is in the non-pay state campgrounds. The issue with that is the same I've run into at Evans Creek when not "off season"... idiots being idiots, especially at all hours of the night.

We've discussed the walk-in only campground at Twin Lakes but don't know about leaving the truck. It would probably be fine, but who knows.

I have the same issues with campgrounds- tend to attract the wild eyed hillbilly meth heads these days. I just drove through the campground at Tahuya last time and it looked like the cast of deliverance had set up shop- 'still and all. I didn't linger.

So, I will be bringing my photography equipment with me on Saturday. Although my friend will be doing all of the shooting since I want to drive. Anyways, hopefully he will get some good photos and I will link you guys to his flickr after he is done editing them.

Cool. My wife is a bit of a shutterbug as well, so I'll post up the link to my photobucket account as well.

Talked to my neighbor and they're apparently having a poker run out there Saturday so we may run into a bit of 2 wheel traffic out there.

2 wheel? Fast movers, should be interesting. Try not to collect a new hood ornament. =-O

How long do ya'll usually stay out? Doesn't matter to me but some friends might be riding with me.

If we get a reasonably early start I'm usually tuckered out by 4 or 5pm, with a long drive home and a (by that point) cranky 5 year old in the back seat. So I don't normally do the marathon thing unless I'm camping nearby.

I'll be leaving by like 10:30, may not even make it to the trails depending on how long we lolly gag in Safeway parking lot. But I need to be in the area anyways so its worth it to see everyone.

Do you still need some FJ80 headlights? I can toss em in the back before I head there tomorrow. :)

The lady and I are taking off for the Olympic NF this afternoon to camp this evening. If we're not in Belfair by 0900 we'll link up with you guys out at Tahuya.

We'll have an FRS radio and cell (pretty good reception at Tahuya) to link up with you guys. Any specific FRS channel to monitor? I think we usually use 4.

Channel 4 on FRS works for me. Channel 20 on the CB and 144.000 simplex on the VHF will be monitored as well for anyone else who may be running late. My brother and I usually trash talk each other on the FRS, so you'll be hearing our chatter likely.

Sounds good! I won't have VHF with me on this trip... I need to get my comms together. Maybe when I do my rear and underhood LED's. After I do my HID upgrade. Which I should do when I install my light bar... while I put a new winch on... which I probably won't do until I do brakes all around, as I'm starting to squeak. During which I'll have to adjust my emergency brake. Following that I'm thinking it might be nice to do the rest of my power steering hoses and possibly my reservoir

Hopefully I'll have that done before the pop top gets here and I'm messing around with my roof.

Of course, there will be front axle seals in there somewhere...

Oh man. I'm going camping. :p

Not to mention a new battery, cables, terminal connectors, and my puma compressor install.

Oi...

Waaay too close to my reality lol.

My wife feels your pain :D she just dejectedly sighs when I bring up my next upgrade to the cruiser.

Yeah. Not to mention it's my DD, so projects have to get in where they fit in, money and time allowing. I've got the compressor, LED light bar, and a few other odds and ends sitting around.

It also doesn't help that I've developed quite the disdain for electrical stuff.

So turns out I will not be able to make this trip, If someone could let me know when something similar is planned again I would appreciate it.
