I got a 05 Tacoma 180,000 lurches forward when stopping like I was hit from behind searched for cause found all these crap solutions that don't work
what does not work and what its not:
1. axle wrap
2. tail shaft slip yoke
3. leaf springs
4. middle ale shaft support bearing
5. not the breaks either
Problem fix is flush and change transmission fluid
I spent $180 for dealership to professionally flush and change using original factory fluid not synthetic.
problem is gone no rear bump from behind when stopping smooth downshifting when cornering
