Tachometer in the 60 series ? (1 Viewer)

How common was a tach in the 60 series?

I’ve had several 60’s over the years, don’t have one now, and don’t recall if they had tachs.

I’ve seen tachs out of the 60 adopted for the 40 series, and wondering how hard it would be to round one up. (Below a description of an example on eBay, shipped from Pakistan !!)

I've had 4 FJ60's and all have had tachs. It is the small gauge between the speedometer and the gauge cluster.

The non-US poverty pack version did not come with a tach.

I have a 1990 poverty package FJ62 and it has a tach. The only thing electric is the antenna.

On a related but slightly different topic from a much older thread (2013) I’m planning a cruise control install on my 3F efi H55 manual fj60. Some options include using the tach as a VSS point but you mentioned the Rostra 250-4170 part that tied in between the transmission and speedo cable? Would this part also work on my 5 speed? Thanks!
