This unrelated to the 70 series cruiser as the vehicle in question is a 1991 Toyota Soarer, but I know there is a lot of 2L-TE motors with craked heads and gaskets, so someone should be able to answer my questions.
The car had been leaking coolant for the last week and hadn't been used much, was going to get underneath is and see what the problem was but hadn't the time. So yesterday I left it idling after a short trip and came outside to see white smoke billowing out the tailpipe reved it a little and more came out, so shut it off. Tried it again this morning and same problem, I didn't notice any bubles or appearance of water in the oil so I think its just the head gasket.
What do you guys think and what damage could result from it being ran any further, note it hasn't overheated yet.
