Hi
I am posting for a friend that just purchased a Sidekick. He invited me over to see his new ride and wanted me to show him how to operate the 4wd. There seemed to be a problem with the locking hub on the driver's side. We couldn't get it to move from the free position to the locked position. No matter what I tried, couldn't get it to budge. The other side worked fine. Are there any Suzuki owners out there that can offer advice as to what the problem could be? I suspect there is a broken part in the hub assembly. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks Brad

Hi All:

IIRC, the Aisen lock-out hubs on a Suzuki are not dissimilar to those on a Toyota.

Good luck!

Thanks, I thought the hubs were stock as I couldn't find any markings on them.I will get them apart.
