Suspension upgrades for 1980 4x4 ?? (1 Viewer)

I recently bought a 1980 4x4 and am interested in replacing the original springs with a "stock height" spring.
I'm not looking for lift, just better springs and shocks to replace the 34 year old stuff.
I did the OME stock height kit on my 80 series Land Cruiser and was very happy with it but I don't think OME offers anything for the 79-83 trucks.
I had a 81 4x4 20 some years ago and used Downey stuff but sadly, they're not around anymore.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Pretty sure '79-85 are all the same springs. I think the only difference in the system is the rear fixed pins, but the front ones work in the back on your vintage, that's what I use (I modified my hangers). But I don't think OME makes a stock height spring for these trucks.

Might give a call to one of the vendors on this board that sells OME, see what they can do for ya.

I'm interested in this also for my 80 non 4x4. The stock springs are pretty much shot.
