I've read that others don't bother with the fan in the full supercharger kit.
Is it possible since these kits were probably intended as a new 80, dealer install item (thinking new 80 in pre-delivery / new condition) - that these fans do work as expected with a nod towards greater underhood temps, but with 80's as old as they are & the kit doesn't add a fan clutch they were designed for a new viscosity unit, rather than our used ones???
Anybody else chased this idea & used thicker oil to compensate for greater temp???

OK -good, at least I'm on the right track/asking the right questions.
Did I miss a "captain obvious" thread on S/C oil in the clutch - using wrong search words???

I just put in a black hub fan clutch with 10K and the 3FE fan last night as part of my piecemeal supercharger install!
