Super Shakey Steering Wheel (1 Viewer)

Just got back from Mammoth & June Mountain. No problems on the snow.

But, when I was driving at upwards of 70 + mph, the steering wheel would shake aggressively.

Do I need an alignment?

Make sure your lugs nuts are on tight!, then check and make sure you didn't lose the wheel weights. Then move on to your wheel bearings.

Start there before you dump money into it.

Make sure your shocks are in good condition and that they are bolted tightly. I had a loose nut on one and it would shake the steering wheel above 70mph.

Check your nuts! After wheeling shakes are most often from loose knuckle nuts/studs, panhard/track bar bolts, arm bolts, etc. They can look tight, but be loose, best is to use a torque wrench. Also debris, mud etc in the wheels can cause out of balance shakes, but that usually shows up at lower speeds.
