Suncore suspension conversion kit?

I would like to replace AHC in my 2005 LX470 with conventional shock absorbers. My mechanic suggests me to use a conversion kit made by Suncore Industry. I never hear about Suncore suspension before. Does anyone instal Suncore convension kit on their LC100 or LX470? How about the ride quality and the shocks reliability?

My statement is incorrect. The AHC system is using the stock stock tabs, so they can support the weight.

x2, crawl under there and look how hd the whole torsion bar setup is

FWIW, the instructions don't mention anything about removing the AHC t-bars... so it is using both t-bar and coils on the shock mount. It would probably be fine but personally, I'd just change the t-bars and not add the coils.

problem is the UCA hitting the shock and spring. there just isn't enough room for a proper coil over on the front of the 100. But I agree, I'd love to ditch the torsion bar setup.

^then someone needs to get on it with designing a long-travel kit with new arms that can accept coils now that more 100s are being sold at decent prices. either that or a SAS kit, please....

I wish we could swap the front ends like the xterra guys can. They can run the Titan front arms and do some pretty crazy stuff with the front ends and bolt on parts. I wonder if there is anything like that for the 100's, but we just haven't found it.
