If Almedia's did any of the work you couldn't pay me enough to go near it.

Oh, they're bad? I've never used them, but was curious about their workmanship.

I use Paul Kabilian in Marsh-vegas for my Toyota needs. He's been maintaining my 62 and 100 for several years now and he's been very good. He's def a Toyota specialist - I took my Subie to him for some work (cheaper than the Subie Stealership), and he struggled with some stuff.

Anyway, interesting feedback on Almeida's...

I have family and friends who live in Hanover that collectively have had bad experiences with Almedia's
Overpriced and poor craftsmanship have been a few of the complaints I have heard.

I will add that I personally have had no experience with this business.

Proud DD of a rootbear colored '84 FJ60. And although new to this YT club and still need to get my app out but I wanted to say that as a female who drives her Yota daily, I am thrilled to be quite literally the only fj60 driver for miles. I love being unique and my truck just adds to my uniqueness. I do what I can to my truck when it needs it and I hope to keep her going as long as I possibly can. She's the coolest vehicle I've owned so far ever.
I'm unclear tho, is CT included in the YT club?
Felicity

Yes CT is included. Post up some pics of your ride. Good to see a girl into cruisers. Welcome.

Awww... Yea this truck kinda fell in my hands back in the spring of '08 for pretty cheap but she ain't pretty underneath... I'm crossing my fingers till someday when I can get her strengthened up. And I'm a bit of a hippy chick so the brown is perfect for me.
And I realized the other day there IS another landcruiser w/in miles of me but it's fairly newer... I think a '00, white, nothing extra. Bumped into the guy once and he remarked on our cool land cruisers. (mines better ;0)

I saw this to there is a sub place (silver trailer) just past the lee traffic circle on 125 heading north (great subs by the way) The guy who owns the sub shop was the brother of the owner. Looked pretty original when i looked at it.

oops didnt quote what i was talking about. on page 2 i think someone mentioned a fj40 in epping for sale.

You're not the only one in CT, and yes I would have to agree your is cooler. I like newer cruisers but older ones have character. I'm in Hamden CT and have a 79 Fj45. Hope to see you out on the road!!

Ha... Hamden... Never go near there but if I do I'll be sure to wave if I see you around.

Season finale of Alcatraz.
White 80 that Becca's Grandfather was driving.

On TV, not in real life...

The lead character in GRIMM drives a white FJ-62.

The show is set in Portland, OR and curiously enough, the last show I watched set in Portland the lead character also drove Land Cruiser, a blue FJ60.
