Successful fishing reports (2009)

Well its May everyone! And a new fishing season has begun. I had suggested earlier about starting a thread for successful fishing reports for our area to help everyone take some guessing work out of where to fish. Most of us have precious few days in a year to go fishing so this could help make our season more efficient and successful.

So lets get this started! Please post reports with as much detail as possible. Place, date, times, area of lake, method, what's hatching, fly, ect.

Please do not use this thread for chit chat! Reports only.

Spring Lake report

Good to meet you Tam (tcurrie).

It looks like the bigger tripliods may have perished last winter.
I caught one nice fat 12-14 incher early sunday but then the whole lake was hatching so my chronimid turned into one of a million on the menu. I think I caught one of the "spring catchables" just dumped in the lake 5 days ago.

I would recomend getting there at daybreak before the sun hits the lake bottom.
