Sub tank switch VS Rear Defroster Switch (1 Viewer)

For those of you with subtanks, do you guys think I can use the rear defroster switch as a subtitute for the sub tank switch? I mean they look the same other than the printed logo on the front. So what do you guys think? TIA.

If you're using and OEM sub tank the switching in side the switch is very different. If you're using and after market sub tank then you'll have to look closely at the wireing diagram for the tank and pull the demister switct out and determine how that works. Once you know both of these you can then determine if it can be used.

My gut feeling is no.
