That might have saved me a lot of aggravation

I think for $19 I will buy it.
If it works I can pass it on to the next person who wants to do a sub tank.

I dont think it will fit between the body and frame rails.
I used a thin flat bar with a hole drilled thru it that worked fine with a nut and bolt with a lock washer to keep the rivnut from spinning.

That gizmo will no fit in between the frame cross member and the floor pan on the RH side unless you loosen the body mounts and lift the body up off the frame a few inches.

I'll stick to the bolt/nut/washer method.....KISS

It will at least make the two drilled holes a lot easier.

Besides, a guy can never have enough tools:D

I am always looking for a good tool!

Any thing wrong with welding the hinges in and using nutserts at the other end?

IK ended up welding one hinge because I couldn't get the rivnut to work. You can still take the tank out. And after welding the wrong bracket in the wrong spot, you can still remove the bracket with a die grinder and lots of patience :D

I was tempted to weld the other side in even though I got the rivnut in. We will see how it holds up.
