Hi team,
The sub gauge on my LX470 has never worked while I've owned it. Main gauge works fine. The closest I got to an answer was a thread in LCool about Toyota Australia doing full cluster replacements. Tried 1 hour no battery, pulling the fuses dealing with the fuel system, etc etc - no luck.
I just put up with it.
However - after getting a rear wire run so my rear camera would work with the shiny new T'eyes CC3, my main tank was running low so I switched to the sub tank and voilá - the gauge worked!
But alas - when I restarted the car it was back to empty and flashing orange light - there's a NZ and Australian term for that... I have a feeling the installer may have (temporarily) resolved a wiring or connection issue.
Question - where does the main/sub tank wiring run, and if possible a diagram
TIA
