Stupid question about low fuel light

On the 4runners the gas light blinks when it gets really low, like after driving around on E for a while. Has anybody seen the 100's fuel light blink?

I saw the low fuel light blinking today.
I've never seen it blink before.
I immediately knew I was about to go dry. Found the nearest gas station and filled up.
