Links didn't work for me

My guess is 72-73 model

My 72 did not have the key on the column or radio cut out. I'll go 73-74.

Shawn

floor shift 4-speed = 1974...drum front, small front turn sigs, 3-door tailgate
floor shift 3-speed = 1973

You're planning on buying this and you haven't looked at it in person, and the seller couldn't tell you exactly what year it is? Sounds fishy.

It does look like a '73.

Thanks for all the replies, even the :flipoff2: ones

He told me and I promptly forgot - and he'll be out of pocket until the day I go look at it.

I'll be able to inspect it closely this weekend before I commit, but knowing the year will help me know what to look for.

Where are the wipper ?

Your guess is as good as mine. I think I see stuff inside on the top but not entirely sure.

If it's a 1973, that would mean a 3-speed on the floor, an F engine with points, no power steering. Without reading codes, what kind of axle ratios are common in these?

Thanks

Early 74's have three speed as well, no factory power steering prior to 79, 4:10 is the only axle ratio if it's stock. All will have points up to 76 or so.

Heater and cover over the gas tank started in 74, still has the old style door striker making it a 74.
