Followed the 3Fe desmog instructions and all went well. The only part I did differently was taking of the entire intake manifold to access the air rail plugs versus the valve cover.

Started right up and drove great home (2 miles - low speed). Took it out this morning and noticed a hesitation in the acceleration. I checked the kicked down cable and adjusted in accordance with the FSM.

I went over the vacuum lines this morning and found nothing missing.

Anyone else have this after desmog?

I wasn’t aware that the 3FE could have its EGR system disabled successfully

Remember that if the battery gets disconnected on a 3FE at at any time, the ECU (engine computer) loses its volatile memory and it has to relearn your driving habits all over again. During that time of relearning, the engine will not run optimally. It can take a week or longer of driving to get back to normal
