Wanted Strong Split T-Case

Looking for a strong/tight running split-tcase to go into my 78 FJ40 mated to a TH350.

Ideally in SoCal.

does it matter which version? early or late? I've got a few early ones, probably just a good idea to put new bearings and seals in it as it will be apart anyway

then you'll need to buy one that's already bolted tothe proper adapter. the split cases don't just "unbolt" like the earlier cases. hence the name "split case".

fwiw, i have a few good used ones on hand in stockton CA, might be able to help with mudshipping it to you as well. pm me if interested.

As Georg eluded to the split cases basically have to be rebuilt every time you install them or remove them. Not fully, but most of the critical parts.
