I don't think those shock mounts would have done any better desert racing.


Exactly! I mentioned this to Sam (a foot or two in the air and the landing would have done the same in a desert run/race environment)...but he wasn't moving from his perch ;).

Granted. All I am saying is that a rockcrawler is always thinking slick bottom with nothing hanging down, at least that has been my experience and practice. With desert racers that is not as important. Still think he should have met you halfway or at least made the effort.
