Strange Question => Wiper Blade (1 Viewer)

The wiper blades are in rough shape and need replaced. I purchased aftermarket replacements for bottom windshield wipers from one of the cruiser sites but they don’t fit. It‘s odd, the end on the wipers arms on my Bandy is much thinner than the opening in the blade attachment on the aftermarket parts (see photos - aftermarket blade last photo? It seems odd toyota would have a specific wiper arm are for Brazil market. Is anyone aware of an arm like this with the thinner end on any of the US model years, maybe later years Thank you for help!

There were multiple different arms and blades over the years for the 40.
The tip of your arm looks similar to the one for 73+ FJ40 and is quite standard.

FWIW my 70 fj40 US has those arms, had a hard time finding new blades, that was a while ago so the market may offer something these days haven't looked in awhile. Try Gary at Mudraks.
