Drop in temp bout 15* and went from no wind to about 25 mph instantly. These will just sneak up on you around here. I like it. But it takes the satellite reception out when it comes. :bounce:

Ya it's Ft Hood. Can't say I'd trade you Carolina for Texas, anyone in UT or CO or any NW states willing to swap?

    Oer 33,000 Lightning strikes!

Watching the weather on the 11 o'clock news here tonight, and they counted over 33,000 lightning strikes here in the past 7 hours in our area. Said it was the largest lightning storm here in many years. I would have to agree. Pretty cool light show. Only one person reported as being struck Some kid on a bicycle. Was taken to a hospital and will be OK. Also, several brush fires from the strikes.

Had a big cloud burst hear in CT a few weeks ago. Rains came pouring down and stopped 30 minutes later. Thank goodness I was in the cruiser or I would not have gotten home.
