i had some sparking when i powered up and used the warn 8274 winch so i pulled the solenoid box off to look for corrosion or loose connectors. i took pictures to help with reassembly even though theyre a pretty simple design. i still managed to put the power from the battery and the power to the motor on the same bus bar and im like why is this thing winding in everytime i apply power. i looked at the pics i took but no good angles had the original location for that power in bond. i had to stare and do some logical thinking for a little bit but i got it corrected and doesnt seem to have effected the winch much and the sparking has stopped. yay me.
