On Monday, the CHP recovered the 45 from a tweaker house in Grayson, Ca.
I am extremely happy .

It was entirely unmolested.

Thanks to Georg @orangefj45 , it is now safely parked indoors waiting for a ride home.

It is a house where all the metaphene drug user people hang out and use the drug. Tweaker came from the fact that when they use, their bodies will "tweak" in an obvious way.

It was likely sold to someone not far from there, so it's a good bet it's still in Norcal somewhere.
If the buyer was an idiot and bought it without a title, he'll get rude awakening when he tries to register it or gets caught driving it.
Otherwise, whoever has it might screw up trying to actually wheel it. If he doesn't strip it. I'm a little hopeful it will show up.

I am so happy for you.
I had my mini truck stolen a few years back just after I got it painted.
The police found it a few months later with dents and scratches and covered in mud top to bottom.
I will think twice before I paint it again.
