This is the best transmission for an 80 series. It’s got the lower first gear (4.5:1) rather than the h151’s 4:1. This allows you to run overdrive gears in the transfercase for better freeway legs but you can still start on a hill.
It’s a fine spline input, but I’ve got the part number for a 300 mm fine spline disk if you want to run the larger clutch (you do).
condition was reported to be fine by seller, I haven’t opened it. These trannies are nearly indestructible. Currently sitting at Valley Hybrids in stockton.
No shifter.
No bellhousing.
has a stock 80 full time hf2a transfercase.
