Stock wheel centers in aftermarket wheels? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone had success taking the centers from the stock original wheels and using them on aftermarket black rock crawlers, white spokes or any other steel wheel?

yeah i took fj40 hub capped wheels and had the centers mounted in 16x8 outers.

I wanted to use the OE centercaps on mine but the center hole in the rim is too small. I looked at modding the caps but couldn't come up w/ a good solution. The only other option is to put the wheel in a lathe and open up the center hole a bit. If my wheels didn't have tires mounted on them, I'd try it. With the tires, you'd need a big A lathe.

i couldnt do with my aftermarket rims...

just draw a toyota symbol on the outer drum...good as new
