1996. Rear existing springs are shot, I have access to stock 1999 100 series springs. Would you use rear stock 80 springs or can I use 100 series springs?

Not sure you can swap them out, but I’d start by measuring the height and width of for comparison. You’ll need to check if the mounting surfaces match Aldo. If they match, give them a try.

The spring rate should be fairly close this the KERB weight is about 5000 pounds for both the 80 snd 100.

99% sure 100 springs will fit an 80, but not the other way around (but that might be 200 springs, can't remember). If they are free, give it a try and report back, please.

Ended up working out great. No fitment issues or odd sounds while driving. The ride feels super smooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's stock 80 series springs are shot. I got about 3 more intches of ground clearance from it.

100s are heavier so more lift makes since. I wonder what the stock spring rate is???
