My brother just pulled the motor out of his 87 FJ60!! My dad bought the truck 5-6 years ago and didn't do much with it so my oldest brother Wess bought it from him.







Next step is to get the other motor(Chevrolet 292) in it. Dad is an old school Chevrolet guy so he already had a couple built 292 truck motors in the barn. He bought the adaptor a while back so Wess said he was gonna go with it. Then he's gonna go with a Ironman lift. He's got new tires and wheels for it already 33/10.50 on stock 40 steel wheels with centers. Making a DD out of it.

Finished the drawers and added the finishing Father's Day touch. LC bottle opener and new stickers.

Super good job. I would love to have your measurements on that. Did you do a separate thread on it?

Didn't do a build thread but do have the measurements. Built a template from cardboard.

You still have the template? What sort of carpet is that you used?
I just got some slides and am planing on doing one big drawer on one side and then a slide out for a fridge on the other side just a bit lower than the the drawer. I have a big inverter to put under the fridge.

Still have the template. Is rough but worked only made templates for the wing sides, rear, and front. Everything built off the 3x3box. Basic indoor/outdoor short nap carpet. Kinda like carpet you would put around a speaker box.

Wess has been working on it for about 3-4 months. He's undercoated the whole thing and scraped the whole undercarriage .The inside looks brand new on it. The truck doesn't have a bit of rust either! I'm the only one that has anything hid but they all are far from being jewels

Blake just sent me this pic. Somewhere over the rainbow........ The Ford broke a belt and something else broke so they were broke down 8 miles from his house in Charleston. Just got off the phone with him and they are crossing the TN/NC line.
