Hey guys. I'm looking to upgrade the steering wheel on my wife's 91 fj80. I was thinking a Lexus wheel, one that is partial wood, partial leather wrap. At the very least I'd like to go with an fzj80 leather wheel. Any thoughts on fitment etc?

There was a thread awhile back by a guy that retrofitted a lexus wheel to a 96 or 97 cruiser and had pics of the retofit. He claimed that the air bag was a direct swap too.

I bought the same wheel by part number from ebay. The wheel did fit the steering column but the airbag is not a direct swap... Not even a close swap...

If you are looking for a wood and leather steering wheel and could care less about the air bag work send me a pm. Otherwise, a mid 90's camry wheel may fit, they are inexpensive and easy to find on ebay or at a local yard. Be sure to get the air bag with the wheel too.
