My 2005 LX steering wheel tilts up when you remove the key from the ignition. And it is supposed to return the wheel to the previous position. But it does not. With the result, I need to adjust it down each time I drive. The manual has this verbiage. Question is how do I disable this feature? I obviously don't want to go to a dealer to do this. What do I need to make this adjustment myself?

Techstream.

You can disable it in Techstream. Did it to mine a few months ago to reduce the wear on the motors as they were groaning a lot. I think it was under utility on the Tilt&TelescopicLive tab.

Could someone post instructions on where to get this Techstream tool?

Most of the instructions are in the thread that I posted above.

Add a “mini VCI TIS” cable from Amazon/eBay, and follow the instructions.

To try and assist with saving some pain, I just bought this cable last week and it works with TechStream. Amazon product ASIN B097YC5LSR
There's another one on Amazon that looks similar but is a scam (it doesn't work and is missing most of the innards)
