Okay, I installed a new wheel for my Land Cruiser. I cannot get the new one aligned right. I tried to move splines and one is off to the left and the other puts the wheel off to the right.

My alignment is great. I am assuming I can move both of my TRE's? Does anyone know which direction I need to move them to move the wheel left or right? Is this best done at an alignment shop?

My Land Cruiser has AHC, but VGRS only came on the Lexus, correct?

Watch this, works perfectly. Go in small increments. Maybe a 1/4 turn at a time.

This is great!! Just what I need. My wheel is off just a few degrees so I will try some a 1/4 turn and see what I get.

THANK YOU!

Was going to do mine today but other stuff came up. My steering was centered on this new to me 2005 model. I adjusted the torsion bars and thats when I noticed it ever so slightly. on My 1998 it worked like a dream. After 3 trips to an alignment shop I decided to fix it myself. Dont know why they couldnt figure it out.

Nice. I will give this a try probably later today or tomorrow morning.

Okayyyyyy. So I did this. My wheel is straight, but now I feel like my alignment is ever so slightly off. However, in the great and heavily taxed City of Los Angeles we have some of the worst roads so that could be a factor. I will give a few days of driving. At least the wheel was straight. I ended up needing to do almost 3 turns on the TRE's and my wheel wasn't even at the 1 o'clock position in terms of it being off.

Can someone confirm that VGRS is in fact a Lexus only feature? My Land Cruiser has AHC, but there are no VGRS settings in my Tech Stream.

Yes drive it for awhile and then take it on a smooth flat uncrowned road if you can find one. I just did my 2005, half turn each. It will be a few days until I can find a good test road. Mine is only slightly left on a good road probably only 11;30 to use the clock jargon. On my 1998 where I first tried it it took two full turns at least.
