Not very hard at all, get your hands on a FSM if possible.

How similar is the steering gear on the 4runner to 1996 Landcruiser, I have FSM for the LC. Will I need a pitman arm puller (should I get the large pitman puller or the small one?). I do have a Haynes manuel for the 4Runner but i'm not sure it goes into the rebuild - just removal and installation.
