I’m aware that I’mleaking power steering fluid but couldn’t determine where it’s coming from. It looks like it’s coming from the gearbox.

With a truck that’s has over 310k, is now is now a good time to go through the whole system, including the gearbox and what’s the likelihood that’s the source of the leak? I don’t see anything coming off the full reservoir or the hoses going down. I’ll get a better look tomorrow to see if it’s at the pump.

Also, if it is the gear box do I rebuild or buy new if possible and do I pick up the 100 series sector shaft if I’m running 35”s, going to 37”s in the future?

My 100K mile FZJ80 benefited greatly from a new steering box, and it spent its entire life in stock form. A rebuild would have you thinking that you have a new vehicle.
