Steer gear box needle bearing removal? (1 Viewer)

Do you remove the needle bearings from the outer end going inwards? Or, there is a ring which holds the snap ring in place, does this come out too?
Gone over the steer gear box posts which says rebuild but they are more like reseal..

ok, answer my own, yes the ring comes out. Gotta love a brass drift.

This box comes from a wreck which had 350k's, looks like it has been rebuilt before due to numbers being engraved on some components.
Against better opinions I am changing bearings and seals at least myself. At least it has little no water damage, not too much wear on pieces.
