Howdy,

I've just picked up a 1997 HJZ80, and it was stock spec'ed with split rims and 7.5 16 LT tubed tires. For a number of reasons, I'd like to switch to U.S. sourced tubeless radials, and am looking for a good, but cheap steel replacement rim for this. The vehicle will see some rough road use in Africa, but no tracks or trails.

Any U.S. sources for a good compatible rim with the right off sets? Can I use steel trailer rims in this application?

Thanks for any advice,

Jeff

Howdy! I would recommend the stock, factory cast aluminum rims for being strong and cheap. Watch the MUD classifieds for a set. John
